Unlike any other...

This article is about some great things about HP, things that I am sure you didn't know. HP teaches us that being a company "unlike any other" is hard, but not impossible.  You should always capture the public by innovation, by interesting things you do in your company or by unusual facts that rocket technology on the highest picks of development (like touchscreen computers in the '80).

So let's start the list!

Did you now how big HP is? To get an ideea, think of the fact that  its revenues  in 2010 ($126 billion) could make HP the 55th  largest economy in the world, in terms of GDP, just behind Hungary! Only 6 places far from Romania! That's a very interestin fact!

Did you know how many HP product are in the world? Just think that the company ships around 3.5 products every second! So  3.5 x 60s x 60min x 24 h its abouat  302400 products every day !?!#?

Did you know how important were the employees for Bill and Dave? HP had one of the first catastrophic health - insurance plan for every employee! Thats safe to know!

Did you know that one of the early products of the company had a worldwide impact on technology? The handheld HP35 (1972) was been named one of the 20 products that changed the world!

Did you know that the cloud sistem isn't as new as we thnink? HP prefigured cloud computing in the '70s by allowing as many as 16 people to use a mini computer on a time share basis!

Did you know that the biggest stock exchange in the world is powered by HP? New York Stock Exchange  has one of the best servers in the world (HP of course) that run continually almost all year long!
